I really don't E-Mail Presidents of company's about how good was the service or if they send me a evaluation link or any thing like that, I just feel that it really doesn't matter, but I ordered through your company a part that was shown as $15.05 but later received a reply from Noreen telling me the part was not in stock and a new price quote due to the part being carried over to a new part # , so I replied back that was fine , she also said she hopes it will be sent out by weeks end , So on Fri 6/13 I called your company to get the status of my order and Noreen answered the phone ,she sounded winded and was still pleasant and when I told her who I was and why I was calling ... she checked the order and told me that the part was processed and should be in my home by Monday 7/16 WOW.......and I would receive a ups tracking # ..... Sir I have to tell you this, "Noreen is in my opinion is as valuable as GOLD" not only did she explain why the order price had gone up and the time to look the order status up, and I could tell she had to RUN to pickup the phone and was an absolute sweet heart over the phone . I wanted to write to you just to let you know I do purchase many items on line, and had some problems in the past with some but I must say " I will always order my Boat Parts from Marine Parts Express" Because of Noreen

I wanted to pass along my appreciation for the outstanding support recently extended by your representative, Mike Halligan. In many transactions with MPE I have always received exceptional service from each representative I have dealt with. However, my most recent contact went above and beyond this and illustrates why I continually make MPE my exclusive source for Volvo Penta parts.

I had ordered a fuel pump for an 8.1 Volvo Penta gasoline engine on a tight schedule for a client’s pending Bahamas departure. The pump showed up in a timely fashion but was unfortunately the wrong application. I talked through the situation with Mike who confirmed that this pump could not be adapted to our application. While I waited Mike got on the phone and located the correct pump and was able to have its delivery expedited for the very next day. Arrival of the correct pump allowed my client to make his scheduled departure.

I just heard from my client who returned safely from a perfect trip with his family. He was not aware of the last minute crunch but I know that his trip would not have been possible with out the effort and resources of Mike and your company. Thank you!

We placed this order for a very difficult to find part. Our local dealer said the part was not available and Volvo North America did not have them.
We ordered the part through Marine Parts Express on Saturday. On Monday AM I was told By MPE that the part may be hard to locate for the same reasons.
Around noon I called and spoke to J.D., he was able to locate the part and shipped it FedEx to the marina where we sat waiting. Less than 24 hours later it is installed on our engine. I want to commend Marine Parts Express for its service and JD for his helpfulness, professionalism and ability to get the job done.

JD/Brodie: Further to my recent order and follow up panic telephone conversation to JD (4th January 09) questioning the exhaust manifold supplied. Just to let you know I have now returned to Tanzania with the part and finished re-building the engine and all the parts were correct as you quite rightly advised. I just wanted to say thank you. I contacted over 15 retailers (both near and far) last week looking for a replacement belt for our Baja 275 (496 MAG engine). No one could help me as the part was on factory backorder from Mercury. Everyone was telling me the supply had been depleted and they wouldn't start shipping from Mercury until March 12th. I called you and even though some of the computer systems were down you still found me a belt and had it to my home in Bonita Springs Friday afternoon. My weekend was saved as Saturday was gorgeous and we are a boating family. I got that belt on in the morning and we spent the day out and about. All of this was great and even better was your price. I paid the same price that it would have cost me to drive to a local retailer (if they had the part) and that included expedited shipping to FL (I ordered on a Wednesday and it was here Friday before noon).
